1 Chronicles 16:34 “Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious Name.”
In this season of thanks, we are thankful for many things.
- Family.
- Our home.
- Our country.
- FOOD!
- Clothing.
But, most importantly we need to remember to be thankful for Jesus Christ, our Saviour, Redeemer, Emmanuel.
1 Corinthians 15:57 “But thanks be unto God, which hath given us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
2 Corinthians 2:14 “Now thanks be unto God, which always maketh us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savor of his knowledge by us in every place.”
Ephesians 5:20 “Giving thanks always for all things unto God even the Father, in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ,”
Thank you Jesus for coming and dyeing on the cross to pay for my sins. Thank you Father for raising Him from the dead! Thank you Jesus, for giving me a family who loves me, and a dad who works to take care of me. Thank you for placing me in this home, it’s not the best in the world, but I am thankful for it. Especially since it’s been raining as of late!
I know that there are many other people in the world who would LOVE to get out of a cardboard shack just to live in this mobile home, and I need to remember to be thankful for that.
Thank you for putting me in America, this free nation. Thank you for bringing the pilgrims to this new land, it is beautiful from sea to shining sea. The colors that you allow me to see this time of year are AMAZING! Your creation is so gorgeous. Thank you for the freedom to worship you. Thank you for putting the desire to homeschool me in my parents’ hearts. It is truly a blessing! Thank you for the food that you provide for us each and every day. Thank you for this season, in which you allow families and friends to come together to give thanks for such things. Thank you for the clothes on my back.
Thank you for revealing yourself to me and for watering me with you Spirit every day. Please continue to allow me to grow in your grace. Thank you for this magazine and for the girls that read it. I pray that they get something out of it every time they come to read it. I love you Lord, and I am truly thankful for you! <3
