Three Things To Be Thankful For

What am I thankful for? What a great question! Since it was so hard to narrow it now to just one thing, I’ve decided to list three random things I’m thankful for

First, I am thankful that the Lord gives us nature as living proof of his mighty power!

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Psalms 19:1

If we just stopped to think about all the amazing things that happen every day with the sun rising and setting, the wind blowing here and there, the leaves falling and seeds growing, we would daily be brought into tears of joyful thankfulness at his awesomeness! Truly he cares for even the sparrows…

Second, I am so very thankful for the blessing of friendship. The blessings of a godly friend are nearly limitless! The Lord has placed many dear friends who daily encourage and challenge me in my walk with the Lord.

Ointment and perfume rejoice the heart: so doth the sweetness of a man’s friend by hearty counsel. Proverbs 27:9

Thirdly, I am thankful for the gift of music. I often take music for granted, but this treasure is a beautiful language of its own sharing with us the beauty of God!

It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: Psalms 92:1
