Cookies and Cream Buttercreams

- 1stick softened salted sweet cream butter at room temperature
- 3 cups sifted powdered sugar
- 10 Oreo cookies
- 1/2 tsp pure vanilla
- 5 cookies (not frosting) for sprinkle
- 8-10 ounces of white dipping chocolate
- Mix butter, powdered sugar and vanilla until blended well.
- In a separate bowl crush 10 Oreo cookies (including frosting) until crumbly. Add to the mixture and mix well. roll into balls the size of a quarter and smash slightly with hands to form a disc, about1/4- 1/2 in thick.
- Refrigerate until firm, about 1/2 hour.
- In a double boiler, melt white chocolate discs until smooth. Drop a candy into the chocolate and turn with a fork til coated well, use fork to remove and tap excess back into the bowl. Place on wax paper and sprinkle lightly with cookie crumbs and let set. Store in an air tight container.
