Give Us Clean Hands

One thing I have experienced in the past is the the enemy wants us to feel so unworthy so we won’t praise God. He knows that if he can trip us up and make us feel awful and condemned that we will feel unworthy to seek Christ. This condemnation makes us not want to praise God, in the sense that we don’t feel worthy to praise His holy name. So how can we jump those hurdles to freedom, the freedom that opens our lips to sing praises to him? Lets join together with this song Give Us Clean Hands. While singing prayer to God for Him to purify us we can indeed praise Him for who He is and enjoy His presence. The enemy HATES when we praise God, so open your mouth and praise almighty God and that ol’ enemy will have to flee!

“Almighty God, we claim your promises that we can break any stronghold and we break the stronghold of condemnation over our lives, We banish the guilt that seeks to close our mouths and we freely speak your praises in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We praise you Jesus! You are God the Son and we magnify your Holy and Precious name.”

I love this song. We often sing it at our worship center. My From the Heart of Worship post (Jesus, Be the Center) is up on my blog. Thanks for your comment on my Taming the Tongue post.

It is a beautiful songs isn’t it? I used to lift my soul to friends instead of to Jesus Christ. So glad He is so patient and longsuffering with us. His mercy is amazing.
