I think it’s so pretty when I walk into some one’s house and it is so nicely decorated for whatever season it is. Especially fall. So, here are some tips in decorating!
- Make sure that you fully dust the shelves before setting it up.
- If you are using faux leaves/flowers please refer to this article.
- Use Autumn colors such as burgundy, orange, brown, yellow, & cream
- Use rustic tin containers for arrangements.
- Check your local paper for the Michael’s ad, they publish a weekly discount coupon for one item at regular price.
- Dollar stores sometimes have packages of fall silk leaves that you can add to your home in various places.
- Autumn fragrance candles such as apple pie, pumpkin spice, and hazelnut can create an ambiance of the season in the home.
It could be that you are decorating your kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, or living space.
Here is a photo of a flower arrangement my mom created with silk flowers and a crafty hanging tin.
If you want to use fresh flowers, you can simply use a piece of oasis, soaked in water and placed in a Ziploc bag (left open at the top). Place the bag with oasis in the container and insert fresh cut stems into the oasis. Simply add water as needed to keep fresh.
I hope you got some nice ideas here. If you would like to share photos of your home’s Autumn decor, post about it on your blog and bring the link back and share with us in the comment section.
