C.I.A.: The Most Important Friendship

I have written about The Used, The Users, how A Precious Relationship is one with your dad, how Your *NEW* Best Friend Is your mama, and What Is A Friend?exactly over the past year. I have also shared about Forgiveness, Accountability, Cliques, Witnessing, and Tattling, but none of those friendships or aspects of friendships can compare to the next friendship I am going to share with you!
This friendship is one that I cherish so much and can never be thankful enough for. This is a friendship is with someone who will NEVER use you, will always forgive you, will hold you accountable, and will always be there for you no matter where you go, what you do how you act or talk, etc.
Think of your closest friend. My closest friend is my Mama and sister. Think of how close you are with your friend. You are tight, right? Well the Word says:

Proverbs 18:24
And there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

This friend is Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the BEST friend you can ever and will ever have! He is such a great friend that He gave His life for you!

John 15:13
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

He truly is THE best friend and He loves you so much! He loves you unconditionally! No matter what you do, when you come back to Him and repent of the sin in your life, He will always take you back! He wants to call you His friend:

John 15:14-15
Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

If you want to become Christ's friend, then you need to: realize you are a sinner and need a Savior, confess your sins, change your sinful ways, and obey His commandments and love Him.
I am so thankful for the relationship I have with Christ. I can come to Him with everyone of my worries, needs, fears, loves, anything, and He will always be there with open arms and ears to hear me. He has never forsaken me even when I turned and forsake Him. That is a true friend! He will stand by you through the thick and thin! There is no other relationship you can have with anyone besides the one you will have Christ!
