We're gearing up for the next issue of GGM and so many articles are just waiting to be released! :O) For now we'd like to draw your attention to a few things that we know would be of interest to you.
First of all, AGMinistries is giving away TWO copies of 'Love, As a Way of Life' from Gary Chapman. (Author of the 5 Love Languages) I shared my review on this book and would like to extend a personal invitation to you all to try and win the book for yourselves. I can't even describe to you how each chapter has IMPACTED my life. So hop on over and get signed up ASAP!
Secondly, Miss Jocelyn has introduced a new site to inspire ladies to wear their apparel to please the Lord. She did a wonderful job designing her site and they have a blogroll as well. Her site is adorned by a fabulous photo of her great- grandmother. Swing by and be encouraged that dressing modestly is a way to please God and to look nice too. No one has to dress frumpy, as Christians we should be pleasing to see, but not in a way that would attract the wrong kind of attention. Read the story that Miss Jocelyn shares about how she came to present herself to the Lord in how she dresses. Now come on by and get started with Feelin' Feminine!
Each Saturday, Mrs. D hosts a Saturday Psalm and Praise and my heart is so uplifted by the
time I read everyone's entries. Please be sure to add the Saturday Psalm and Praise to your weekend line up.Yesterday I participated in a Monday Meme that I wanted to share with you that has a devotional angle. Please come by and see what God gave me in a basket of strawberries.
One last stop is to see what God put upon Miss Charlene's heart about how women have dressed over the last 100 years. It's a wonderful devotion that inspires us and opens our eyes to how women have changed over the years. I pray her article inspires you!
Don't forget the Digi-Designer contest we're having! We want your submissions for the September contest! We're giving you a little extra time to get your submissions sent in!
