Well summer has hit most of the world by now and maybe you've seen seasonably strange temperatures like I have in Northern California. Just when we thought summer was upon us, and many travelers were headed to Lake Tahoe for Memorial Day weekend, vacationers were met with a snow storm! Lake Tahoe is known for the place to go for this patriotic holiday for fun in the lake with skiing, boating, and some relaxing by the lake. I'm glad we stayed in town that day. We recently read about a deadly cyclone that hit the island of Myanmar and an incredible earthquake that hit China. Maybe we can now move forward with our summer plans. In this issue and throughout the month, you will find a whole lot of summer fun to incorporate into your plans.
In the upcoming months we will be featuring some of our very own authors in our GGM Interviews. I can tell you that I am excited to learn more about Miss Brielle, as Miss Jocelyn had the chance to ask her all about her hobbies and her growing profession!
We also have two new contributors who joined our team this month. Please say hello to Mrs. Brown and Miss Kaitlyn! Miss Kaitlyn has been sharing her poetry with us these last two months and we are so excited to have this new mother-daughter team joining us at GGM.
**Important Message From GGM**
As we have worked incredibly hard to provide you with the best of our time and talent, we ask that you be patient as we have needed to make a few changes to our site. We are asking that you take the new codes you see in our side bars. We want to be sure that you get the updates on all our graphics, as you have seen in the past, and due to some unforeseen circumstances we need you to grab the new codes. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for understanding.
With the summer fun rapidly approaching you may wonder what a proper young Christian girl wears when she plays in the water. Well, we wondered that too and found several sites with some fantastic modest swim suits. So please swing over to our Resources Page for the details!
**Announcement** Our pdf version will be available June 5th. Thank you for your patience as we prepare that for you. Each month we find new and innovative ways to design the pdf version of our magazine and we know you won't be disappointed. Please be sure to subscribe so you don't miss the announcement.
You may notice that we now have changed the tagline of the magazine to 'magazine for ladies'. This was a change made by our team due to the fact that many adult women also enjoy our magazine. Some have commented about another Christian magazine for young women being similar to ours. Yet, that is not so. At GGM we strive to bring you old fashioned wholesome articles to inspire you to live a holy separated life that is pleasing to our Savior. GGM is very different from other publications and our prayer is that you will draw especially close to our Lord as you read articles that bring back the old fashion goodness that has been preserved for us from our fore
Thanks again for all your support and encouragement. Please enjoy the magazine for June 2008! If you'd like to share how the magazine has been a blessing to you contact me and your comment may be featured in an upcoming issue.
