My dog, Lady, likes to lick me a lot, especially when we’re snuggling together on the couch watching TV. Sometimes it feels like she's giving me a bath. I wonder why she does this.
While I was researching this, I found out dogs lick for a lot of reasons. Licking is a social sign showing submissiveness. Puppies lick to ask for food from their mothers when they're weaned, so a young dog may lick to request its dinner. Licking may be a sign of love, your dog's way of showing you that she's enjoying spending time snuggled on the couch with you.

Dogs wag their tails to communicate happiness to other living things. Dogs don't generally wag their tails when they are alone. A dog approaching a food bowl may be excited, but will not wag its tail if there is no other animal or human in the room. The wagging of a tail would happen only with an audience.

I love Lady, she is my baby and I am her fur mama. I give her walk, pamper her, feed her, and give her baths. She is my model for my photography hobby, and she is very good at it! God tells us to take care of our animals. God gave Adam the task to take care of all the animals and name each one of them. Adam was gentle and very kind to each and every animal.

We have six dogs and six horses and a cat and a hamster. Can you tell we love animals too. My mom posted us and our horses on her blog one time http://www.homesteadblogger.com/HighHopesAcademy/49898/
when we were celebrating goof off day. Animals are so fun to have but you must take care of them if you are going to have them. They require care too.

I don't have a cat or a dog, but I have three guinea pigs. My guinea pigs names are Harry, Larry, and Beaver. There nice most of the time, but Harry can get a bit jumpy when it comes to brushing his hair.
